Ginger ale because I’m boring and also every time I’ve tried going to the liquor store there’s a line out the door.

That stinks. A bit of bourbon in there would be good.

Just popped open a bottle of three-buck-chuck. The store was out of Mad Dog 20/20.
But I’ve developed an appreciation for sippin’ bourbon. So, that looks good.

Rainbow Suspenders, a DIPA from Seapine Brewing. One of the owners of my beer store recommended it and he was spot on - it’s quite good.

One of those that i bought at the duty free because there was 3 for the price of 2 else i would not have bought it as the feedback on the Internet were not great but it did cost me 117€ for the 3 litres (39€/L) which is not a big expense .
Definitely less peated and complex as the 10 years old ( which cost in the 30-35€/75cl in supermarkets around here so not much more expensive) or the Q uarter C ask but probably also easier to drink for those who prefer lighter drams.

The only thing I have in the house rn is Kahlua, and I don’t even have coffee to mix it with.

Mad Dog is awful. TBC is drinkable.
I’m loving bourbon these days.

Sounds delicious - though I’m usually not a fan if there’s a bit of sweetness on the end.

Sounds decent enough! I’ve become hooked on bourbon, but have yet to get accustomed to Scotch for whatever reason. At some point, I may set my mind to that.

Kirkland small batch bourbon. That's labeled Tennessee straight bouron whiskey.

That’s actually what my wife calls the bourbons I drink.

Seapine makes some great stuff!
What’s your beer store - Chuck’s, or one of the numerous other ones around town?

A C rabbies ginger beer from a can.. Hard to tell if flat or just the bottles have more bite.

This one isn’t terrible but can’t go wrong with the price. There are definitely better out there. Like your angles envy. Just can’t get it from Costco in Ohio.

But without the over-bite, I hope.

I love IPAs for reasons similarl to gin. The piney resin taste is delicious both in hot weather and cold.

I t’s really not just beer... Proper & Ernest in Woodinville. The beer selection isn’t huge, not as big a most traditional bottle shops like Chuck’s, The Cave or Malt and Vine, etc , but what they have really lines up with what I like. And the guys there really are quite knowledgeable , both about beer but other stuff too in case a I need an interesting gin or just something new and fun to try.

I’ll have to check it out. Despite having worked in Woodinville for most of the last 20 years, I’ve never stopped in there.
